The Dutch designer Hella Jongerius lives and works in Berlin and is known for her way of combining industrial and artisanal, high-tech and low-tech, tradition and modernity. In 1993 she founded the studio "Jongeriuslab". She has been working with Vitra since 2004. Since then she has not only made a substantial contribution to the Vitra Home Collection with products, but has also brought her colour and material expertise to the Vitra Colour & Material Library.
