The Vitra Campus is located in the border triangle region of France/Switzerland/Germany and is easy to reach by both public and private transport.

By car:

From Germany: Autobahn A5 Karlsruhe-Basel, exit 69 Weil am Rhein, turn left, follow signs for Vitra Design Museum to Vitra Campus.

From Switzerland: Autobahn A5 Basel-Karlsruhe, exit 69 Weil am Rhein, turn left, follow signs for Vitra Design Museum to Vitra Campus.

From France: From Strasbourg via the Palmrain border crossing (D). Take the E 35 and follow the Vitra Design Museum signs to the Vitra Campus.

By public transport :

From Basel Badischer Bahnhof: Bus line 55 to the “Vitra” stop (journey time approx. 15 minutes) or with the Deutsche Bahn to Weil am Rhein (one stop, journey time approx. 5 minutes), from there follow the signs for Vitra Campus Follow Müllheimer Str. (duration approx. 15 minutes, distance approx. 1 km).

From Basel SBB train station, Barfüsserplatz, Claraplatz, Kleinhüningen: Tram line 8 to the “Weil am Rhein Bahnhof/Zentrum” stop (journey time 15-30 minutes), from there follow the signs for Vitra Campus on foot along Müllheimer Str. (duration approx 15 minutes, distance approx. 1 km).

From Weil am Rhein train station: Follow the Vitra Campus signs along Müllheimer Strasse (duration approx. 15 minutes, distance approx. 1 km).

From EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg: Bus line 50 to Basel SBB train station (journey time approx. 20 minutes), change to tram line 8 to the “Weil am Rhein Bahnhof/Zentrum” stop (journey time approx. 30 minutes), from there on foot Follow the signs for Vitra Campus along Müllheimer Str. (duration approx. 15 minutes, distance approx. 1 km).

By taxi to the Vitra Campus: costs 25-30 euros, travel time approx. 10 minutes.
