In the spirit of sustainability: in our Vitra Circle Stores, used Vitra products are refurbished and put back into circulation.
With the Circle Stores in Brussels, Amsterdam and on the Vitra Campus, Vitra enables its products to have a second life cycle and thus puts sustainable management into practice. The products are used Vitra furniture and accessories, such as samples, trade fairs and exhibits.
Purchases are made locally, with prices depending on the condition of the products. If you are looking for a specific piece and would like to find out more beforehand, you can view the entire range online before you visit.
Nora Fehlbaum, CEO of Vitra
« Vitra's greatest contribution to sustainability is above-average durable products that leave out everything superfluous. Our roots in modern design would not allow otherwise.»
The longevity of the products is at the heart of Vitra's contribution to sustainable development. In order to develop products with the longest possible lifespan, Vitra avoids unnecessary details and short-lived trends. The products are designed to be easy to recycle and to remain in circulation for a long time. This is most evident in the classics: thanks to their aesthetic and functional longevity, they remain current and in use for decades, can change hands several times and even become part of a collection.
