Environmental consciousness finds expression in every aspect of Vitra’s work. It is manifested in how Vitra develops and manufactures its products, in the sourcing of raw materials and the organisation of its supply chain. Every new insight is regarded as an opportunity for further development, our workstream to reduce wood waste is one example of this practice. We try to understand how and why we create wood waste and how our perception of wood waste can be recalibrated and reduced.
